Washing-time machine-Latrice, macchina del tempo
Washing-time machine-Latrice, macchina del tempo
Pittura fluorescente, borchie, colla a caldo e brillantini. Luce. 90x60 cm. Praga 2013.
This washing machine is inspired by the life of a person who has exported high quality used clothes, 60'-70'-80 ', in Prague. The first phase was to wash them and then distribute. This leads me to a reflection on the traces of time and our lives. An object so homely as the washing machine speaks of our daily reality so fleeting. The music, politics, fashion, leave indelible footprints on our culture from which we must learn for our future. The uniqueness of every moment should be celebrated with joy, as when we hear once again our favorite song or we do a washing machine with the clothes for our children.
We need symbols, but behind the symbol there is so much more. There are memories, emotions, ideals, the history. Janis Joplin and the Beatles in the 60 ', with the skirts, the hippies and desire of peace, Patti Smith and the Sex Pistols in the 70s', punk style, disco music and armed demonstrations, Madonna and Depeche Mode in the 80 ', with the excess, the fall of the Berlin Wall and the Prague Spring, Lady Gaga and I could not really choose a band that can represent this time musical symbols today, history will decide, we are a blooming flowers. The clothes of the past, as a valuable witness, they become an emotional vortex to enjoy now. A window on the world, a celebration of frivolity and instant. A drawer to put, not the detergent, but the food we need to survive, but also to feed our imagination and pleasure. Another tray is not for the filter, but to expel the stool, such as weapons and violence that hopefully should always decreasing. A button plays the music of the 60'-70 ', another 80'-90' and the last 2000 and 2010. Each side has a primary color. On the Yellow there are all the tools that we can use to express our feelings: a pen, make up, a brush, everyone has their own. On one side there are jellyfishes with some small beads inside, the mystery of life that even science can never explain. The object speaks about the owner, is alive. Fluorescent paint, studs, hot glue and glitter. Light. 90x60 cm. Prague 2013.

180x120 cm. 2011.
This work is inspired by the client. He loves the oaks, Napoleon Bonaparte, the pomp of the Empire, he has a strong personality and a lots of imagination, he’s suffering of insomnia because he has too many thinkings. So I imagined a tree that is actually a palace, where happen court intrigues and secrets. the Moon is actually his eye, we do not know if it’s his thoughts to keep him awake, or if he want to spy him-self, intrigued by his own personality. The lovers hide in the most unexpected places, even in the inner bark of the tree, permeated of love. In a branch there is a ballroom, in another the creative arts, than the tea-time and Napoleon's triumph on his horse and the coronation of Josephine. Acrylic on plywood. 180x120cm. 2011.

Sesso tra fiori e bicicletta-Sex between flowers and bicycle
Sesso tra fiori e bicicletta-Sex between flowers and bicycle

This painting born from the desire to understand the sport.
Sport is masculinity, rationality, simplicity. Often the woman does not understand, in her refined and complex frivolity, how her boyfriend could ride for 5 hours without thinking about anything, just enjoying the landscape and the clean-fresh air that enters into his nostrils. So is expressed the desire to share the masculine side. The cold metal structure is transformed into a soft and curvy body of a woman, blue as the ocean to breathe together. The wheels that support the weight of the world, become factories of flowers, sensuality, with hot pink high heels, and life. The duality is between the hot pink and the light blue. Each one of us to achieve happiness must reach his male and female side. A butterfly, or perhaps a vagina or a flower, is turning into a multi colors peacock. The ellipse represent the universe where love happen. Acrylic on canvas. 140x80. 2012

Lost in luxury of Being-Persa nel lusso di esistere
She's enjoying the luxury of being in that moment,
but at the same time she's imprisoned in it.
Necklaces tied her legs.
The wood becomes water or just fiction.
The dirty feet of vulgarity can't reach her.
She becomes a jellyfishes, or a spaceship, going to new universes.

Acrilico e collage, 70x50, Oslo 2013.
This painting was inspired by the "Pietà" of Michelangelo, in my opinion the most exciting statue of history of art.
Mary embraces her dead son, a strong and tragic scene, but at the same time able to reveal the beauty behind the pain.
In my version Mary shows her naked breast, she is a modern and powerful woman.
The man is made of wool, but it could be made by bubbles soap or whipped cream, any material that gives us an instant pleasure.
The woman reveals to the man the secret of life: "Enjoy the little things , but at the same time love the big ones". Or maybe she has only pity for him, for his superficiality.
The ellipse represents the universe and the jellyfish the mystery of birth.
Acylic and collage, 70x50, Oslo 2013.
La bellezza che deriva dal dolore-The beauty that comes from pain
La bellezza che deriva dal dolore-The beauty that comes from pain
Tecnica mista. 120x90 cm. 2013. Praga.
The beauty comes from pain. They know it all the people that didn't find it in a top model that, even if she is so good looking, she showed just insecure in her anorexia body. They know it all the mothers that gave birth to children, or simply those who have suddenly found themselves in love with a girl that looks horrible, but after several hours together, she was so full of life, able to laugh and passionate like a child that was impossible to not change your eyes. What is a body? This car that life gave us temporary . We are just love. So this woman of "whipped cream" or maybe made by "clouds" has, inside of her deep wrinkles, which are more like grooves and unmistakable cuts, rainbows of color or perhaps blood, culinary decorations for a San Martino (typical italian cake) or colored wires that maybe an invisible housewife stitched. Below her man is covered with flowers, symbol of death and rebirth,he is learning the value of love. Butterfly in the sky that are turning into birds, a symbol of the Holy Spirit, they are flying in a cascade of color. Mixed technics. 120x90 cm. 2013. Prague.

Amo tutto della vita, ama tutto di me- I love everything, love everything of me
Amo tutto della vita, ama tutto di me- I love everything, love everything of me
When we love someone, we love everything about her or him. Her sweat, her fatigue, sadness or joy. And all this comes from hes spontaneity, her courage and love for life. This woman, in an aggressive stance, that in a bigot world can be vulgar, as a St. Vergin , she is crying and exudes all the colors of the world, transforming her sexuality, experienced by many with a sense of guilt, in a triumph of joy. Does she is perhaps the goddess generator of the world? Or maybe she can represent all of us, with our personality, when we can win the superficiality, even alone. The colors fall in a blue circle that represent the sea and the man. Around her butterflies are trasforming them selves into strange species of birds. She looks towards the light.

Il ramo dell'esistenza-The branch of life
Il ramo dell'esistenza-The branch of life

This painting is dedicated to the artist's mother. Along this branch, representing the arm of the artist's mother, we find various objects of her life which seem to tell her story. Women love decorating their homes with beautiful and elegant (but unnecessary) show pieces which bring charm and style to their homes and mark the passage of time. This branch is decorated like a Christmas tree in which every object carries a history of meanings: various cookies that the artist's mother used to eat in the past, a dream catcher used to watch over her daughter, a San Martino (a typical Italian cake), a Christmas ball, a piece of lace from Burano, a satin foulard head scarf of the 60's, a red bow used to celebrate the artist's birth, a glass ball from Murano, etc... On the tip of this branch we find a green bud, representing life after death and therefor the continuity of life. This work was exhibited during the artist's personal exhibition housed in the “3D gallery” in Mestre, which took place in 2010. 150x50 centimeters, acrylic colors on plywood.

Natura viva-Alive nature

" Alive nature" is the exasperated concept that I want to express in my art. This is the most important historical theme of art history, the dead nature is, in fact, where the artist began to paint not only religious subjects or portraits, but things and objects that speak about his love for life. So I chose some of the fruits that i love more and I expressed my feelings of positive energy and love. The human come back to be the protagonist, immersed in nature and imagination of a magical world. I used nail enamels and decorations as to ask a provocative question: "Isn’t better to put nail enamel than to have the war inside of you?". The fund is intentionally blank to emphasize the fiction of painting. The oysters are fresh squirting vaginas, sacred temples where pray the life, bananas are waves to surf, inside of the mango there are infinite universes, the hedgehogs are bombs, the pineapple is a palm or a slot machines ...

The conflict
In a world where the machine "money / beauty" prevails and controls, there are “giants”, victims or perpetrators of themselves.
Too thin, too much silicone, too decorated. This is the stereotype of a Gold digger today.
But, is it possible, even here, to find poetry and hope?
Her dress has on it the projection of the vulgarity and insecuruty of the men that buy her expensive presents, because they are too old for her.
The decorations are going inside of her skin, hurting her.
Her heels are going to slip from this precarius balance of “bananas bunches”.
At her feet the humanity is small, out of the game, powerless and anonymous.
The background is crying, maybe make up or oil and gold.
But the mystery of life, motherhood and the joy of working, can awake her from this nightmare.
Acrylic, colored glue, embroidery.

Troppo magre, troppo siliconate, troppo decorate.

Everybody of us born in his country and we receive a cultural baggage that influenced our personality. How we can be human, above of race and bank account? Stend up and watch over your horizon, value the general situation. There is always somebody that is more lucky and less, also not for his capacity and personal will. So we have to learn how mach we are lucky or forgive our self for not having success that maybe is not up on on us, but maybe up on the mondial economical crisis, and don't judge other people, because we don't really know from witch reality they come from, and watch the future with optimism, life is a wheel and we are all part of a big story. Don't think only about your self.
So i rappresented my self sit in the sea. My legs rappresent the earth where we come from, on it there is my story , but also monuments from all over the world. It's, in the reality, the story of everybody. The childhood, the high shool friends, the first kiss, the family. But if i raice my look from the water i can be a human and not a razzist or a snob.
Everything with a lots of "frivolity" that is the subject of my art, the capacity of living with a light heart, enjoing just a beautiful color or a choccolade cake. The sky is of pink whippen cream.
Acrylic on canvas.

Micro painting "The origin"-Piccolo dipinto "L'origine"
L'amore sepolto-Buried love
L'amore sepolto-Buried love
In a teeming magma with worms, shells, fossils, fetuses in evolution and precious stones, they hide them selves "Death" and "Birth". When a love ends, everybody knows, is like a death. We do not know if this man is really dead or if he is a "living dead", incapable of love, distracted by work and superficiality, terrified of something higher that would really get him into the game and asks him to have courage. Or maybe the two lovers have just met and they are gonna be happy. No one knows how this story will go. The man and the woman create the shape of a flower, a symbol of birth and hope.

Fioritura-Blossoming
Fioritura-Blossoming
Venezia 2013.
The painting "Blossoming" is the continuation of "Buried Love",the love, envisioned as a plant that blooms in a perfect balance between the woman, the man and the colors, hiding in its "bulb", underground, the negative and bad things of the world, rappresented by this character saying, "I'm cool!" ,that represents the superficiality, individualism, pride, and all the negative feelings that are in our society and make so difficult our relationships. The child, who has the face of an adult, was born and now comes to the surface to see this miracle, that he prefers to the toys. A pack of dogs are witnesses of this. Acrylic on canvas, 50x50. La crescita-The growth
30x30. Venezia 2013
"The growth" is the last of 3 small paintings dedicated to love in our lives. The trees of life grows above our imagination. The seed is always the same one, the fusion between the woman and the men, the rationality and the feelings. On the right we find again the love that doesn't work., this time is a woman, lost in her world of shoes and materiality that we don't know if she will let Peter Pan saves her, bringing her in his sky of dreams. At the center, like a divinity, a child, testimony of events. The words, for now, lie on the bottom of the ocean. Acrylic on canvas. 30x30. Venice 2013
